    Total= 38.3 million (12.7% of U.S.) 
    Under age 18= 30% (11.4 million) 
    Ages 18-24= 11% (4.4 million)
    Ages 25-44= 29% (11.1 million)
    Ages 45-64= 22% (8.3 million) 
    Ages 65 or older= 8% (3.1 million)


    Black American Income & Wealth:
    Black American total Disposable (After tax) Income= $790 billion
    Median Black Family Income= $32,000 (Latinos=$36,000) (Whites= $52,000)
    Median Black Family Net Worth= $20,400 (Whites= $140,700) (Latinos= $27,100)
    Percentage of Black Americans who own a home= 50% (Whites=75%)
    Percentage of Black Americans in Poverty= 25% (Latinos= 22%) (Whites= 8.2%)
    Percentage of Black Americans without health insurance= 20% (Latinos= 32%)
    Percentage of Black Americans without a bank account= 30% (Latinos= 34%)

    Blacks age 25 or older who have a High School Diploma= 80%  (Latinos= 60%)
